This photo was taken on May 9, 1993, the same day as photos #10 & #11. This was the mammatus cloud formation that everyone in Austin remembers. The mamatus clouds were the aftermath of a large hailstorm to the northeast of Austin. I'm on the south side of town, looking east across I-35, just before sunset.
