Red Flame Cafe

This picture was taken in 1971 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I had just eaten dinner in this cafe one evening and was getting into my car when I noticed the scene, so I took a few pictures. The Red Flame Cafe was located on the south side of Highway 70, next to a Chevron station heading towards the White Sands missle range. The cafe changed hands several times over the years and in 1996 was Ernesto's Mexican Restaurant. When I went through Alamogordo in 1998 it was being used as the office of a used car dealer.
